Building a new custom home in a complex process with many elements to consider. The True North Homes team lives and navigates this complex process every day. So we are quite comfortable with all these elements and facets.
However, we know that it’s a world that most homeowners don’t live in each day. The homeowner is likely making the largest investment of their life. We deeply understand that this complex process and the investment involved can invoke feelings of uncertainty, anxiety and fear. At True North, we believe a key part of our job is to “walk” with the homeowner on this journey. We strive to do everything possible to keep our clients at ease. We encourage clients to ask questions, join us on the job site to watch the process, and share any concerns along the way. While this doesn’t make the process easier, it does make the journey more enjoyable!
Ensuring the homeowner remains up to date on the status of the building process is critical. Many companies and people are involved throughout the build process … Realtors, banks, utility companies, inspectors, electrical contractors, plumbing contractors, supplier of appliances and fixtures … to name a few. Coordinating these players is a key role of the builder.
True North Homes also recognizes that the homeowner has the right and owns the privilege of being included in seeing the most current status of the project plan, current pictures of the progress, and kept informed of all aspects of the project. Our process ensures our clients know the status of the build, the budget, and the plan at all times.
Our primary job as a custom builder is to build your home to your specifications, remain within a specified budget, ensure your new home conforms to current building codes and is safe for you and your family.

True North Homes is a custom builder. We don’t have a set of plans you pick from or a lot you choose. You may already own your lot or you can work with one of our affiliated Realtors® in finding the perfect property in a place that suits your lifestyle. You may already have a floor plan with a style of home in mind or we can help you find just the perfect house plan.
